Sunday's only Premier League game saw Everton travel to Bolton's Reebok stadium. A game which saw on loan Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge net his 3rd goal in his first 3 games. A very impressive stat which points the finger over to Chelsea's transfer deadline day signing Fernando Torres, worth £50 million.
The game ended 2-0 with a headed goal from Englands Gary Cahill which also took a deflection. Bolton dominated most of the game with the Centre Midfield pairing of Stuart Holden and Mark Davies controlling most of the game. In the second half Everton did push forward and Tim Cahill had the chance to equalise when put one on one with the keeper but he chose to volley when a header looked like the simple choice.
Monday's game saw Chelsea take on Fulham. The game finished 0-0 but Chelsea were lucky to come away with even a point when American, Dempsey missed a last minute penalty. To think if Chelsea had kept their hands on Sturridge and not wasted this £50 million they could be doing a lot better!
Hope you guys had a stress free/painless valentines day
