Looking ahead to Saturday

Saturday, 12 February 2011
Barclays Premier League
Man Utd v Man City, 12:45
Birmingham v Stoke, 15:00
Blackburn v Newcastle, 15:00
Liverpool v Wigan, 15:00
West Brom v West Ham, 15:00
Friday, the day where all football fans in England look ahead to the weekend and see who their team is facing.
A few matches to pick out. The Manchester derby is this weekend, United have confirmed that their young defend Chris Smalling will be starting in the middle of their defence so it should give City some encouragement to play more attacking than they usually would against a top 4 team away from home.
Arsenal will be hoping they win more convincingly against a bottom half team and have got Wolves at home. Wolves who come back off a win against top of the league Manchester United. An achievement in itself and made even more so considering United were unbeaten all season up until that match.
Newly appointed West Brom manager, Roy Hodgson will see his team against West Ham. With their thoughts laying whether they can move into the Olympic stadium after the London 2012 Olympics. They are battling it out with Tottenham Hotspur for who can call the stadium in the East End their new home. The decision on who gets the stadium is announced later today!
